This coming Friday night Graham VK5GM will be giving a presentation on A basic Common emitter Amplifier. Talking about a rule of thumb method to design a working amplifier and understand the DC biasing. Briefly discussing how the signal is processed and some rudimentary fault finding.

The Club Buy Swap & Sell is upon us again. It is a little later this year because of Easter and Anzac day falling so close together.

Sellers will be charged $10 per table and can set up from 11am

Buyers will be charged $5 per person with entry from 11.30am

It is being held in the club rooms at Capulet Cres in the Modbury West Community Hall.

The repeater team has finally overcome some teething problems with transmitters and we are ready to go. Our first segment is set in the diary for the last Sunday of each month with the inaugural transmission being Sunday the 27th April at 3.30pm. We are talking about the achievements of Guglielmo Marconi and his contributions to radio communication.
