A very informative and inspiring meeting last night with a presentation from Sergeant Derrick McManus from SAPOL. Derrick provided a great insight into his remarkable recovery from being shot 14 times by a high powered weapon in a siege in the Barossa Valley in 1994. Derrick relived this incident with members and visitors present, describing how we all need to have a ‘Plan B’ in life and how we should value our friends and workmates in guiding us through the hard times. A very motivational and inspiring presentation. Thanks again Derrick.
